Omdat het snijgereedschap voor de voorruit wordt aangedreven door een oplaadbare elektrische schroevendraaier*, vergt het niet veel kracht. Om de lijmlaag rond de voorruit door te snijden, maakt de kit gebruik van de speciaal ontworpen snijdraad met hoge treksterkte (onderdeelnr. 623). Deze verwijderingsdraad heeft een snijvermogen dat vergelijkbaar is met standaard metalen snijdraden, maar is zo zacht en flexibel dat schade aan de lak van het voertuig wordt voorkomen.
